It's... admittedly an odd choice for the happiest route/ending to be the only straight one, in a (primarily) gay visual novel. 

Not intentional obviously, was just how it ended up but still just... weird to think about.

Questions, can I change the BFF's name? Anytime I try to start a new game, it's Rylan, and never seems to change despite my first save having a different name. 

Also, is there any cheat to edit NPC appearances or traits? Or a way to alter the prevalence of some of them? Hell, even just knowing what each one means would be nice.

Man, I can't figure out certain characters. 
Who is Braum? Amos? Gordon? Alex? Edgar?

They aren't in the Character tabs, I can't google them or find out.

Are they from the side episodes for each character?

Lacks Templates, hard to see options in selection area, lack of adjustable stomache, breasts and genitalia frequently float off the character when adjusted, glitches when head is flipped, most faces smirking, can't adjust individual parts, overall quite buggy.

Hmmm. Why not make a name that sorta... represents both school and love theme? A combination of the key themes you want to write, in a way that has multiple meanings? 

Like... uh, just random suggestions, but like... "Passing Love", "Highschool Hearts", "Final Beginnings", "Learning Love", or "Final Weeks and First Chances"? 

I wish characters would talk less and say more.

It's really hard to tell what to do, and the save system is... not very enjoyable.

What species is the main character? Is he one of the characters from the images?

Also, it kinda sucks that as a male you can masturbate and it doesn't increase your penis experience points,

Man, I can't figure out the keyboard controls for skipping text, rolling back text, backlog, or anything. They seem different from usual Renpy games. Anybody know? Is there a way to speed up character expression transitions?

I kinda hope we get more relationship stuff, it felt like a shaaarp drop in Hoss and Sal's routes, like I suddenly veered into a neutral route.

Well, I finished it all in one sitting today, after putting it off for ages. 

Jesus Christ. I am astounded by how well the writing balanced and acknowledged different elements and themes.
So much of this visual novel should be a trainwreck, really.
It makes so many decisions that break away from conventions and stereotypes. It also tightly acknowledges others, respecting the audience and the medium of the story. It builds so much up with the viewer, the characters, and the story in mind, and delivers on the premises it sets forward the way that the best stories often do. 

It also has so many thoughtful, bold choices that I'm still a bit aghast at how outstanding it is. There has only ever, among all the visual novels I've completed in my years, been two visual novels that have made me openly sob. This is one of them.

Thank you Howly, and everyone involved, for doing what you do.

The characters have multiple expressions now! And they're SO GOOD!

So... uh, is this game "inspired" by Dream Daddy? The premise is similar, as is the UI and character creator. 

Granted, this game looks BETTER than Dream Daddy, but I can't imagine that it's a coincidence...

God DAMN! This is such a good visual novel!
Random thoughts: 

• The character art in this game is easily my favorite out of all the projects. Obviously, the writing is as outstanding and well-done as ever.
• Nik is by far my favorite character and route thus far. Words cannot express how much I love his character. I also quite like Yao, he's awesome! I'm... very worried about those bunkhouse photos though...
• William is a character I've gone from loving, to hating, to liking. I weirdly adore Todd though. Oh, and I quite like the way Will's route is going! I like the prospect of Will and Sam getting closer, and intimate.
• Murdoch is a character I'm uneasy about, but lowkey really like. He seems like a genuine, yet split-second deceptive fellow. Good stuff.
• Cliff is the outlier, and yet is still great. Lovely and earnest change of pace, and while he's refreshing, I don't have a feel for his plot yet.
• Cynthia is such a sweet and cool woman. I hope she gets every single hug she deserves in life, oh my lord. What an awesome ladyfriend.

Super interesting. I've now finished 3/5 routes in the game, Kol, Nasir, and Zed.
REVIEW TIME!

I started with Kol's route, and definitely liked in, but... after running through it, was generally pleased with it. I liked his slower building route, while maintaining the interesting sex thing. The weird plot about Nasir being a catty jealous hoe was... uh, weird, but I guess the route needed SOME sort of drama or stakes? It was weird. 
I felt like this route was easily the most canon, considering Kol's role in other routes. Plus, considering how he ends up, I liked it. Really friggin' good.

Then I did Nasir's route, because of his role in Kol's route. It... felt remarkably shallow. I appreciated a game actually having a guy who is fairly rough and dominating, but man... in exchange for the (surprisingly mutual) sexing, I sure didn't get to know Nasir very much.
I liked and appreciated how straight up sexual and direct the route was, but god dayum! Nasir is crazy insecure and whiny. 

I then did some extras, and moved on to Zed's route. Fuck it, let's go furry! 
So I was enjoying it, besides the kinda bleh 'Zed smelling you' mystery thing.
I thought it was interesting, cute, sexual, and had a surprising kink in it mentioned slightly, which... huh, I had no idea I was into that brief kink. Uh-oh...!
But it was very good, and felt more substantial than Nasir's route!
Really sweet, good time spent with Zed, and surprisingly sexual. Yay!

Random Thoughts & Critiques:
--I noticed that... all the routes are sorta similar. It's not uncommon for more "direct" visual novels, and isn't bad, but was noticeable. Good length tho!
--I don't know how to explain it... but, I thought the characters looked better in CG's than their sprites? Usually it's the opposite problem, but I was surprised with how much more I liked certain character's builds and expressions in the CG's!
--Man, for how much they talk about big penises, they're... kinda small and dumpy looking on the character sprites. Still nice to have though.
--I feel the world-building in nice for window-dressing, and serves the smut well enough.  The characters are slightly on the bland side,  maybe it'd be nicer if characters like exploded, or had stronger, more expressive traits expressed in their first meetings. The main character is bland despite actually having a name, weirdly.
--I like that the main character thus far is strictly a bottom, and the love interests are seemingly all horny tops. FINALLY, THANK YOU GOD.
--I don't want to romance him, but Doctor Guy is awesome. What a bro!

--The game seems nearly complete, which is really heartening to see. I look forward to it's official release, where I'll buy a copy. And if a project comes afterwards, I'll definitely be interested in it! Fantastic job Mr.Colton!

Man, so much of the display and ui remind me of Darkest Dungeon.
